Practice details

States, insurance, and locations.

This page sets out where Dr. Winner's patients are seen, which insurance plans the practice works with, and what visits cost, so a therapist can tell in one read whether a patient fits this service.

Practice locations, insurance participation, and fees are also set out at Solutions Psychiatry. The site for patients is PsychMed Care.

Where patients are seen

The practice works by telehealth. Patients are seen by secure video in 34 states + DC. Federal and DEA rules require an in-person visit for some controlled-substance care, and those visits are arranged in the patient's own state, planned in advance. The practice keeps offices at the addresses below. They are not walk-in locations, and routine appointments do not take place there.

The 34 states and DC are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Three questions decide whether a patient fits this service: whether the patient's state is covered, whether the patient's plan is accepted, and what the visit will cost. All three are answered before the intake is booked, not after. A therapist can tell a patient that with confidence, and a patient who does not fit is told so at the booking step rather than at the first visit.

Medicare patients are seen in Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, and Utah. Medicaid patients are seen in Oregon and Wyoming. The practice verifies a patient's coverage before the first visit and confirms the exact copay, which is typically $0 to $40. A patient is never booked first and priced later.

Self-pay fees are $350 for the 60-minute intake evaluation and $250 for each 30-minute follow-up visit.
